Garden Lovers Unite! Whether you have a seasoned green thumb or are just starting to explore the world of gardening, our Plant Buying Club is the perfect place for you! Focusing on hardy cottage garden perennials, we offer community bulk purchases in October and March.
October: Choose from a variety of bareroot and 9cm perennial plants in October that you can plant up before the ground freezes for the following spring or pot them on and overwinter them in your greenhouse or somewhere protected. There is nothing more satisfying than the joy of seeing all those plants that you forgot you planted emerging in the Spring well before you start to think about the upcoming summer season.
Feb/March: Hardy perennial plug plants are available. They are often tiny and need re-potting into 9cm or 1tr pots and hardened off in a protective sunny spot before they are ready to be planted in you garden at the end of April/ May.
Mid March: Roses are available, gorgeous varieties of standard, hybrid, climbing and tea roses potted up and ready to plant in your garden.
April: A large range of perennial herbs with many hard to get varieties of sages, thymes, mints etc. These come in 9cm pots and can be planted immediately
Through the summer: If there is enough demand we could order in 'in flower' perennials. These don't tend to be as cheap but would still be a few pounds cheaper than most garden centres
All plants are grown in the UK for UK weather conditions.

All profits from our Plant Buying Club supports our work at Victoria Park Community Cafe, and helps to fund community projects and initiatives with our partnerships with Broadway Community Gardens and the Community Fridge. Your participation helps us give back to the community in meaningful ways.
